First thing what you should to do after signing up for the game is to download the 3D Map(That can be done by pressing the "Download Player" on the welcome page)! After you've downloaded it, extract it on your desktop. Every hour energy increases by 1 point (if you haven't purchased any items from the market) and decreases by 10% so if you just have started playing this game it means after 2h you'll have 1.9 points of energy. After some time when you already have gained let's say 4-6 points of energy run the game and gain some gold by opening chests (this is the most profitable way of gaining gold currently in the game).

Once your gold balance get higher the next thing which I suggest you to do is to buy some clothes they are the most cheaper way of gaining more energy currently in the game,(More energy=more opened chests=more GOLD) but to buy clothes you must have some gold in your gold balance....

(All clothes lasts for 30 days period)

Socks (Gives you 1.2 of energy per day): 0.07 GOLD

Shirt(Gives you 2.4 of energy per day): 0.11 GOLD

Can you mine real precious silver, gold and platinum in game? Yes, it is crazy, but you simply can. You can sell your virtual mined precious metals on open game market or you can request physical delivery to your home. The game cover shipping and handling taxes. So if you mine in game 1 gram of platinum or gold or 20 grams of silver you can request delivery of 1 gram 24 kt gold nugget. Or 20 grams of 999 silver nugget.

PipsTycoon How to start your first company

First of all, here are many types of company we can choose to run. I started with basic utilities. You can this type of company for 1$ per month. But of course this not only one expense.

Then you must buy working tools to produce oil, gas or electricity. It costs now $5 on market. With tools you can produce max 1000 pieces of product. Then you must buy new tools.

Another stuff what you need is factory, on market you can buy it for $5 now. Factory with time degrades and you must renovate it or buy new. You can use one for about 33 days.

To produce for example one square meter of natural gas you need resources = raw materials. The result is finite material which you can sell on open market to players or sell to your another company which will use it to produce another product.

The last thing what is needed to do is put workplace to work market and other players can work in your company for salary you will set.

Then here is sweet reward. It means sell your product on market and make profit.

And there is another opportunity, you can offer shares of your company. Who will buy some so if company pay dividends shareholders get their share. For example if owner withdraw from his company money, company pay dividends to shareholders.

PipsTycoon Tutorial for NEWBIES

Day 1:
On the first day, you do not have the capital. To get the first dollar you
have to click the Work menu. It would trigger the verification tab, which assigned to match whether the one who registered was a bot or a human. Enter your phone number . Remember that you need only to enter the 11 digits since the country code is automatically appear and do not need to enter the number “0”. Upon successful verification, you will receive a SMS form of 6-digit number for confirmation in the Verification tab.


Never use VPS or Proxy when registering account, as it would lead to failure on account verification. There are also constraints on the browser where most of the tab does not work when using Mozilla. You can switch to other browser like google chrome when you encountered this issue. After successful verification click back to Work menu and you will get a dollar as a percentage of your productivity.

Day 2 :
Today you have your capital results from yesterday work. And its the time to earn more, therefore you need energy. There are 6 kinds of energy in PipsTycoon, which are Foods, Wine, Clothes, Jewelry, Cars, and Houses. This energy enhancer products will increase your energy based on the type and quality - Low Quality, Medium Quality, and High Quality


Before buying energy, click the work menu to see how much the minimum energy needed, usually varies from 0.5 to 2. It is recommended to buy LQ Food which provides 2 energy. To continue, simply click work menu. The greater the energy, the greater the revenue you could generate. You have to be smart to count, do not let your expenditures greater than the salary earned, or in other words mean significant losses.

Day 3 :
Do the same thing as the previous days. Pay attention when buying energy because we still have small capital. Working should be over at 16:00 pm because the company offers a higher salary than Working in the morning and never Work if the salary being offered is under $ 1.

If you work at the same type of company, your work experience will rise 2% per day and every day decline in which sector you are not working. For example if the first and second days you work on power plan company, it is better to wait until most of top power companies are looking for workers because you will get more dollars.

Day 4 :
Besides LQ food, you can buy HQ food that gives you 6 energy, there are lots of other kinds of energy. Productivity is one of the important things. Productivity is calculated based on the energy, work experience, loyalty points. For every month playing PipsTycoon, you will receive Loyalty 0.5. Remember that the salary is shown for one day work for workers who have 100% productivity. If productivity is 50%, you will only receive half of the salary.


Purchases of energy products are based on the capability of the player’s budget, not everyone can buy High Quality Food especially for new players. Adjust the purchasing products of energy enhancer based on the budget you have. It is a way of investing, turning your money to earn more profits

Later Days :
Every time you get a paycheck there will be taxes, which are Ref Tax, Salary Tax, and Transfer Fee costs which vary for each person. Always do a calculation simulation of net salary that you will get deducted from energy prices and the cost of the tax, once it appears that you will get a profit from working, click the Work menu, otherwise don’t take the job.


If you are careful in the fifth day, you will have $ 2 and as my advice it is better to live a profession as a laborer for at least 2 weeks ahead, and during it you need to learn the basics and principles of PipsTycoon game. Do not be easily satisfied and easily influenced to play risks such as foreign exchange trading, cryptocoin, and commodity if you do not understand the mechanism.

Trying to adapt as quick as possible is the key to success in PipsTycoon. The simplest way is to ask directly your up line or the person who invited you to play PipsTycoon. You can also ask PipsTycoon’s Facebook group and read the archives comments there.

Besides Work, there are many options to add your dollar, which are :

1. Trading
Trading is transfer of ownership of the goods and services of one person or entity to get something in return from the buyer. There are many sectors in Trading, they are stocks, indices, forex, commodities, and cryptocoin.

2. Share
We can buy a percentage of the value of goods that can be turned to our income. For every stock you buy, you will receive the benefits per period. We can trade shares in the market and speculated with prices. There are two types of stocks in PipsTycoon, game stock and company shares.

3. Company
If you have a lot of capital, you can set up a company. There are many companies that exist in PipsTycoon, ranging from the field of Natural Resources, Raw Materials, Materials, Consumer Goods, Services, and Mining.


Essentially, if there is a will, every day you will grow in Pipstycoon. You may find yourself tips and tricks that can be shared among players. PipsTycoon is a business game which is very promising and should be tried, with the possibility of getting real money from your hard work.

PipsTycoon Simple guide for newbies

How to start earning money?

At first you have no money, no clothes and no experience.
You are starting as a worker and your wage is dependent on the companies, which offer you a wage for your work.
If you click at the Tab "Work", you can see the available jobs, listed by the offered daily wage and domain.



Basic rules are simple. You can only work at the company that offers the biggest wage in a specific domain. For example you can work at the bank that offer the biggest wage of all banks or at the gold mine that offers the biggest wage of all gold mines. A work day lasts for 8 hours. You can work only once a day. The displayed wage is for one day of work for workers that have a 100% productivity. If your productivity is 50%, you will receive only half of the wage.

You can increase your productivity in three possible ways:
Energy
Work Experience
Loyalty

How can I increase my energy?

You can buy and rent products from the market. Each product has three different quality levels.
Low (1 Star)
Middle (2 Stars)
High (3 Stars)
If you buy a product with high quality you get much more energy. A high quality product is like 3x low quality products on the same category.

Never rent a product, if you can buy it. It is every-time cheaper to buy a product.
Try to get one of the expensive products.


How can I increase my work experience?

Every-time you work in the same kind of factory for example gold digging, your work experience is increasing 2% daily.
Guides says it is decreasing in the other segments, but I never noticed this before.

How to start your first company?

TIP from me

Open a new company only, if you have the money. You need at least 15$ Balance (I recommend 20$). I did a mistake and now I lost 6$.


What is a company?

In a company you can produce materials for products or products and sold them to customers.

If you want to start a company, you to click on the tab "Companies" and then on open a company.

You should see the picture below on the page:

There are many different categories of factories. Your first factory should be a "Basic Utilities Company". The materials are not so expensive and you should make a good amount of money.

Example Gas:

You pay 1$ /month to get the rights to open a company. After that you have to buy a factory (Low quality 5$), work tools (currently 7 $), Materials (3/0.06$) (You use 10% of a material for 1 product (gas)) and a payed worker for currently 2.00$. (the worker gets only the amount of his productivity)

Materials 0.1xElectricity + 0.1xOil = 1xGAS



Total: 14,62$.

We should buy at first the work tools, the materials and advertise a workplace.
The factory need to be renovate in 90 days and it doesn't count, if you use it or not. ( I fell in that trap :( ).

For every product you get at least 0.06 $.

Game BONUSES

Bonuses are paid by game's fund to companies or players in certain situations such as working 5 days in a row, renting a car etc... Bonuses are proposed and voted by players. From this page you can propose a new bonus or even the suspension of an active bonus. Keep in mind that only players having the energy and equity of minimum 5 can propose changes and only players having a minimum equity of $1 can vote. If the game's fund does not have money to pay a bonus, the bonus will be automatically set to zero.

How to survive Pipstycoon when just starting out

This is a guide to help people who are just starting out playing PipsTycoon and want to learn to play for a while before making a decision about investing in the game.

If you are like most of us who recently started playing PipsTycoon you probably want to play the game for a while in order to see if it is worth making an investment. However, you may have found it difficult to scrape by during the first couple of weeks as you have tried to get familiar with the mechanics of the game. I wanted to write an article to share with you all some tips on how you can make ends meet for as long as you need to in order to make a decision about investing in the game. 

Your first day you probably push the “work” button and you received a small salary for your days’ work. Once you saw the amount of money you made and you started multiplying it by a month or two you begin to think of all the money you would be able to earn once your experience raised a little. Then comes day two and to your surprise you needed a specific amount of energy in order to work your second day. This means spending some of the money you made on the first day which wasn’t all that much and now you realize it is going to be difficult to make ends meet. 

PipsTycoon is not just giving out money for free, there needs to be a give and take which is why they require you to invest back into the game by buying energy. When you click on “work” it will tell you how much energy you need in order to work that day. So in order to gain energy you simply buy clothes, food, etc. in order to reach the level of energy the game has mentioned. 

The problem is that over time you will find that you are not making enough money to buy the energy you need every day, this is because wages are very low right now and prices for energy are fairly expensive. There are a couple ways to make ends meet. 

The first way though not the best way is to simply work every other day. When you miss a day of work the game calculates that you didn’t make any money the day before and so they decrease the amount of energy you need to work. Since there is no work bonus at the moment, you won’t be losing out by not working consecutive days. This does hurt your experience however so it is obviously not the ideal, but when you are out of money and can’t buy enough energy for that day it is the only option. 

The second way to keep afloat is to strategize when you buy your energy. Since we all live in different time zones I can’t tell you exactly when to buy but the game starts a new day at the same time every day. At that time you can work again even if you just worked a couple hours earlier, this means that if you buy a piece of clothes for instance just 2 hours after the game’s new day starts it will last for 24 hours. The clothes do not expire at the end of the next day but exactly 24 hours from when you bought it. This means that the following day if you buy another piece of clothes before your first pair expires you can work with twice as much energy because you are using the clothes you had used the day before. Using this method you will be able to use each item twice before it expires which will save you money. 

Lastly you can write articles. This will help you get that extra money that you need to be able to buy another piece of clothes etc. That is what I hear at least.

Finance will let you check how much resources they're giving you from taxes (last few transactions). GoldenTowns Market

The Market in GoldenTowns is one of the most important feature of the game. This is the place where you can trade one resource to another and even buy resource using your gold from other players and state. Another good thing about Market is that the trades is not limited to resources only, you can also buy workers here, skilled and unskilled, as well as soldiers. Great right?

The Market
Raw materials such as Vegetable, Meat, Wood, Iron, Stone, Clay and Gold can all be traded among'st one another. While workers, soldiers and artillery can only be bought via gold, it is possible to sell your raw materials for gold once you have reached 60% happiness for your town.

The trade prices are always changing depending on the amount of goods that are being traded off each other, so what might be a 1 : 1 exchange ratio right now might not be 1 : 1 anymore within seconds.

Just like the Inventory, the Market has 4 subsections : Products, Workers, Army and Finances. Each of the sections presents to you the detailed status of the stocks and allows you to make any asset type available for sale.

PRODUCTS
In this section you can buy any type of raw material by paying with gold or, equally, with raw materials. Remember that the raw materials market is local if you pay in raw materials or global if one of the products is gold.

Remember that after each exchange, the price varies upward or downward. The first step to initialize a transaction is to select what you wish to purchase and what you wish to pay with. The selection box (fig. 1.1) helps you select the types of products that will constitute the object of the transaction.

In order to buy, for instance, vegetables by paying with wood, select in the vegetable box on the left and in the wood box on the right. After you select a market, several items of information are displayed, such as the list of the most recent transactions and the current price. Write the quantity in the box on the right and click on the purchase or sell button. The exchange will automatically take place, but the price will change.

After each transaction on the product market, the price varies by +/-0.0001 for each traded product unit. Let us assume that you wish to buy stone by paying with iron, and the price is 1.0000 stone for 1 iron. If you buy 100 stone, the stone-iron market increases to 1.0100, and the iron-stone market decreases to 0.9900, which means that next time you will need 1.01 stone to buy 1 stone unit and only 0.99 stone to buy 1 iron unit.

You can also purchase products by paying with gold. Select on the left the product and gold on the right. You will see the list of offers from all over the world. On the gold-raw material market transaction do not take place automatically. You permanently buy from or sell to other players. The offers are displayed in the order of prices. Write the desired quantity next to an offer and click on the “Buy” button. Remember that you can buy raw materials within the limit of the storage capacity provided by the raw material warehouses (fig. 2).

To sell raw materials for gold, go to the market page and select from the product box any raw material on the left and gold on the right. In the upper part of the page there is a blue button. Click on the button to be able to insert a new sale offer. Specify the quantity you wish to sell, the price, and click on the “Update” button. The offer will be immediately visible on the market. Remember that only towns with a degree of happiness of at least 80% can sell raw materials for gold. You can have up to 10 offers on the market.


WORKERS
Here you can see the list of workers made available for sale. The workers’ market is a global one, which means that any player can access it, regardless of the country. Workers are purchased / sold for gold. Use the menu in fig. 3 to specify a particular qualification.

The menu with which you can select the workers’ qualification In order to buy a worker click on the “Buy” button next to the offer. Remember that the purchased workers’ lifespan will be adjusted depending on your town’s degree of happiness. Workers have a lifespan between 10 and 60 days, depending on your town’s degree of happiness. Lifespan is provided by the formula

Even if, for instance, you buy a worker with a 50-day lifespan, if your town has a 50% degree of happiness, the purchased worker will only live 35 days.

Not only other players, but also the mining fund can make workers available for sale. The fund has an unlimited number of workers made for sale and the selling price is permanently adjusted after each purchase.

SOLDIERS AND ARTILLERY
Using the market, you can also buy soldiers or artillery. Use the menu in available to select the desired type of soldier / artillery. Similar to the product market, the soldiers’ market is global. Soldiers and artillery can only be sold for gold.

SHARES AND BONDS
Using the market you can also buy shares or bonds. Select from the menu the Finance section. Select from the menu on the left the asset type. You will see the list of offers from all over the world. Government shares or bonds can be purchased by paying with gold. Click on the details button and you will reach the financial asset presentation page. Here you can specify the quantity you wish to sell / buy. Shares or bonds are automatically bought / sold to / from the mining fund. After each sale / purchase, the price drops or increases by 0.0001 gold.

GoldenTowns Gold

In GoldenTowns, players are exposed to a variety of ways to obtain gold. Either by exchanging goods in the market for gold, selling your workers for gold, selling your army, selling your shares/bonds, selling referrals for gold, buying gold from a gold trader and lastly by mining gold just like the way you collect goods from your production buildings. (If I do miss any ways of obtaining gold, please feel free to correct me by contacting me through the contact form and I will correct it asap, thank you!)

However, unlike the production buildings, the resources required is dependent on the amount of gold that has been mined for the past one hour of global gold mining activity. GoldenTowns came up with a system that automatically adjusts the amount of resources required to mine gold in order to set a balance for capping gold mining activity (specifically, if three gold is mined before an hour has passed, the resources required would be increased by 25% and vice versa, a decrease of 25% of the resources required if it takes the community longer than an hour to mine three gold.). So in other words, the more resources you have, the better chances you have in partaking in the gold mining activity each time since the amount of miners would increase day by day as more players join this game!

Though it may seem rather clear cut on how to obtain gold by mining, the journey to get a gold mine up and running is not so simple! In order to build a gold mine, you will have to ensure that your town's happiness is at least a certain percentage. (50% as stated in the website for now.)

And just like building a gold mine has its restrictions, the other ways of obtaining gold has its own restrictions too! Here are the summaries on restrictions for each different way of obtaining gold:

For selling your resources for gold, your town's happiness level would have to be 60%!
For selling your worker for gold, your worker's life span has to be above 30 days!
For selling your army for gold, your army's life span has to be above 30 days as well, along with the restriction that the army has to be in town!
For selling your shares/bonds for gold, you would need to have gold to buy them first in order to sell them!
For selling your referrals for gold, your referral has to be at least level 3!
For buying gold from gold traders, you would need real life money, isn't it obvious!?
For mining gold, you would need a town happiness of at least 50% and all the resources that is required to build the gold mine and the mining fee! (As of 11th of September 2013, I personally found out that there was no restriction on the percentage of happiness in order to mine gold! I have confirmed that this restriction was lifted by GoldenTowns for now.)
And even if I have just listed the summary of restrictions, there are still tons of restrictions restricting those restrictions!

I will try to update this page with more details in regards to obtaining gold whenever I have more information on hand, so stay tuned for those updates!

Detailed Gold Extraction Process

As we mentioned before, the virtual gold in GoldenTowns is limited to 100.000 coins and is distributed to towns at a constant pace. Initially, the entire amount of gold lies in a fund, called “the mining fund”. This fund provides miners with around 3 gold / hour to be “extracted”. The fund permanently adjusts the extraction prices in order to maintain the 3 gold / hour pace.

After every 3 gold extracted, the duration in which they were extracted is analyzed. If the duration exceeds 1 hour, the extraction costs are automatically reduced by 25%. If the duration of the extraction is less than one hour, the extraction costs are automatically increased by 25%. Until the final 3 gold have been mined, the fund stops generating additional gold. To see in detail the miners’ activity, as well as other details, go to the “Gold” page. The first section displays the available amount of gold, the extraction costs and the miners’ activity.

Remember that there are minimum costs for the extraction of gold, established at 100 vegetables, 200 meat, 300 wood, 400 iron, 500 stone and 600 clay. The extraction price cannot drop below these values even if a 3 gold deposit is mined in more than one hour.

Players are distributed in the virtual countries according to their location in the real world. Under these conditions, certain countries will have a very small population and equally low budget incomes. In order to help the budgets of small countries, each 3 gold deposit is associated to a country. This means that with each gold extraction, the budget of the respective country receives 10% of the extracted quantity. The association of countries takes place at random. Approximately every 10 days a country will be associated to a 3 gold deposit, but everything is left to chance.

FUND ACCOUNTING
In addition to the fact that it provides miners with gold, the mining fund also makes collections. Collections come from selling assets or citizens. Immediately after you conclude a process, you will pay in gold a certain amount that will be added to the fund. Basically, the fund distributes and collects gold from players in an infinite cycle. If the amount of gold in the fund drops below 25.000 gold, the fund will reduce the amount of gold made available for miners. This stage cannot be reached earlier than 5 years from launching the game.


In addition to the sale of assets and citizens, the fund owns 10% of the aggregate government bonds and 10% of the aggregate shares of the cities, that is the entire amount of bonds and shares which can be made available for sale. The fund will collect dividends in gold and be able to sell shares / bonds.

In order to see the list with the fund’s transactions, go to the “Gold” page, “Accounting” section. The page below will be displayed.

GOLD OWNERS

In the “Gold owners” box you can see the list of players who own gold in descending order of the amounts. Still on this page you will the total amount of gold available for trade, excluding the deposit certificates (the fig. below). The sum displayed here, added to the sum held by the game fund, must never exceed 100.000 gold. When you make a deposit certificate, the sum in gold shall be withdrawn from circulation.

DEPOSIT CERTIFICATES
A deposit certificate represents a code that you can use to pad an account with gold. The code comprises 12 figures, in the xxxx-xxxx-xxxx form, and must be provided so that the account may be padded with gold. Certificates are ideal for those who wish to make long-term investments in gold or play for small periods of time. Even if your account was long deleted due to lack of activity, you can at any time use a certificate to refuel the new account. You have to be very careful about how you manage and keep the code from a certificate. If you lose a certificate, there is nothing you can do. We do not store in our database the certificate numbers. We only store an encrypted and impossible to decrypt form of the number. To be able to recover the money, we need the certificate number. Certificates are issued to bearer and anybody holding the number can recharge their account with gold.

In order to constitute a certificate, go to the Gold page / Trade / Certificates. In the upper part there are two buttons. The left one allows the construction of a new deposit. The one of the right allows you to liquidate a certificate.

If the number is valid, you will receive the equivalent of the certificate in gold.


Deposit certificates can also be traded. To see the certificates made available for sale, go to the Gold page / Trade and select from the submenu the “Deposit Certificate” section. Here you will see the list of the certificates made available for sale. Only gold traders can sell certificates.
